What is a JOJ drop?

Just Ordinary Joy releases new designs in small, limited-time drops rather than keeping everything available all the time.

Each drop is open for a set amount of time. Once it closes, we send the orders to our local print shop and make the pieces that were ordered.

No giant piles of inventory. Just small batches made with lots of joy.

How long is a drop open?

Most JOJ drops are open for about one week.

Each drop will have a clearly marked closing date so you'll know exactly how long you have to order.

What happens when a drop closes?

Once the drop closes, we stop taking orders and send the final order quantities to our local print shop.

After that, we can't guarantee that additional pieces can be added to that batch.

So if you see something you love, don't wait until the next drop!

Are JOJ shirts ready to ship?

Nope! JOJ pieces are made to order.

That means we don't print a huge inventory and hope it sells. Instead, we collect orders during the drop and have the pieces made specifically for the people who ordered them.

How long will my order take?

Because your piece is made after the drop closes, please allow 2–3 weeks for production, followed by shipping time.

You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

How much is shipping?

We offer a flat $9 shipping rate.

If you order more than one item, you'll still only pay the one flat shipping rate.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because our pieces are made to order, we can only make changes or cancellations while the drop is open. Once the drop closes and your order has been sent to our printer, we're no longer able to make changes.

Why don't you keep inventory?

Because we want to make thoughtfully—not just make more.

Instead of ordering hundreds of shirts before we know what people want, we work with a local print shop to make each drop in small batches based on the orders we receive.

It means less excess inventory, fewer shirts sitting around waiting for a home, and a business model that lets us grow intentionally.

And it means your JOJ piece is made especially for this little community of ours.

Who prints your shirts?

We partner with a local print shop to bring our designs to life.

Keeping our printing local means we get to work directly with the people making your shirts, support another small business, and be a little more intentional about how JOJ grows.

Why does supporting small businesses matter to you?

Because JOJ is a small business, too.

When you purchase from us, you're not just buying a shirt from a giant warehouse. You're helping support a chain of real people and small businesses—from the people who make the blank shirts, to our local printer, to the person packing your order at home.

How do your shirts fit?

You'll find specific fit information on each product page, including the shirt style, fit, fabric, and available sizes.

We recommend checking the size information before ordering, especially because some JOJ pieces are designed for women and others for kids.

Will the colors look exactly like they do on my screen?

Colors can vary slightly depending on your screen, device, and display settings.

We do our best to photograph and represent each color accurately.

How should I care for my shirt?

For the longest life of your JOJ piece:

Machine wash warm, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not iron directly over the printed design.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Because our pieces are printed specifically based on orders placed during each drop, we generally cannot accept returns or exchanges due to choosing the wrong size or changing your mind.

However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at hello.justordinaryjoy@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery and we'll make it right.
